Procurement Technician (OA)

The Procurement Technician (OA) provides technical support to Contract Specialists and Administrators by preparing single source justifications, authority to negotiate, methods of contracting, procurement action reports, contract obligation cards, and COR letters. Receives and reviews procurement requests for services and work covered under established time and material and other delivery order contracts. Reviews, updates, and inspects the contract file system assuring compliance with regulations. Initiates and composes letters to contractors. Accomplishes clerical, statistical and data entry tasks using an automated data processing system to create and delete files, search files and records, store/extract material from a variety of software packages, transmit large amounts of information, and generates cumulative, statistical, tabular, narrative and graphics reports. Correct errors in grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
