Procurement Analyst

Serves as a Senior Procurement Analyst responsible for the analysis and evaluation of contracting matters, and for the initiation, development, and recommendation of contracting policies, procedures, guidance, and controls for the Army Contracting Command. Evaluates and recommends disposition on requested waivers to statutory and regulatory requirements and utilizes knowledge of business and industry practices to develop policies. Reviews, evaluates, and provides specific guidance concerning contracting policies/procedures, solicitation/contractual documentation relative to Government facilities, special tooling, special test equipment, component breakout, warranties, recovery of nonrecurring costs, high dollar spare parts breakout program, industrial preparedness, production planning, and interdepartmental coordinated procurements (MIPRs and non-DOD). Responsible for providing program support and position action needed for the successful implementation of high priority/visibility programs.
