Serves as the senior manager of plans and programs of construction and maintenance of facilities utilized by the Detention Operation Headquarters in the Afghanistan Theater of Operations. Provides facilities engineering and housing support for the Detention Ops Garrison in the theater of operations. Supports the operations via implementation of the Civil Works Program, military construction, planning, and nation-building projects. Enhances national preparedness plans.
